Delete Your BioStacks Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your BioStacks account and associated data for the BioStacks app and services (including the Android app package co.biostacks.app).

How to Request Account Deletion

  1. Email team@biostacks.co with the subject line: BioStacks Account Deletion Request.
  2. In your message, include the email address you used to sign in to BioStacks (Google Sign-In email).
  3. If you are contacting us from a different email address, we may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.

What Data Is Deleted

When we delete your account, we delete or anonymize the data associated with your account, which may include:

  • Account profile data (email, username, avatar URL)
  • Onboarding responses and preferences (e.g., goals, age group)
  • Your supplement stacks, saved items, and related notes
  • Scan history (barcodes/products associated with your account)

Data That May Be Kept (Limited)

We may retain limited technical logs and security-related data for a short period to protect the service, prevent fraud/abuse, and debug incidents. Where possible, this data is minimized and/or de-identified. We aim to remove or anonymize this retained data within 90 days.

Timing

We aim to complete account deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.
