About Proline-Rich Polypeptide (PRP) Complex

Colostrinin is a proline-rich polypeptide complex isolated from ovine (sheep) colostrum, distinct from generic bovine colostrum supplements. Small placebo-controlled and long-term trials in mild-to-moderate Alzheimer's disease reported stabilization or improvement in a subset of patients versus placebo/selenium, with a favorable safety profile, but sample sizes were small and it has not become a standard or FDA-approved therapy. Evidence does not extend to healthy adults or the general-wellness uses marketed on some labels.

What Proline-Rich Polypeptide (PRP) Complex supports

  • Small trials in Alzheimer's disease patients suggest possible cognitive stabilization — evidence is limited to small, dated studies and doesn't extend to general wellness use

How much Proline-Rich Polypeptide (PRP) Complex to take

The RDA prevents deficiency. The effective range is what clinical trials used to actually move the outcome.

Effective

100100
