Welcome to BioStacks. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BioStacks website, mobile app, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility

The Service is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18.

3. Description of the Service

BioStacks helps users build, manage, and explore supplement stacks and related wellness information. The Service may be available via a web experience and via a mobile app that loads the web experience in a WebView.

We may add, remove, or modify features at any time, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) without notice.

4. Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to keep your account information up to date.

5. Device Permissions (Mobile)

If you use the mobile app, certain features (such as barcode scanning) may request device permissions like camera access. You can control permissions in your device settings. If you deny required permissions, some features may not work.

6. User Content and Feedback

You may submit content through the Service (for example: supplement stacks, notes, reviews, and other materials) (“User Content”). You retain ownership of your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you grant BioStacks a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, publish, and distribute your User Content solely to operate, improve, and provide the Service (including making content visible to others if you choose to share it).

If you provide suggestions or feedback, you grant us permission to use it without restriction or compensation.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts or systems
Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including by scraping or abusing APIs)
Upload or share content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringes another’s rights
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law

The Service may include links to third-party websites and services (for example, retailers such as iHerb or Amazon). Your interactions with third parties are governed by their own terms and policies.

Some outbound links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a commission if you make a purchase, at no additional cost to you.

BioStacks is for informational and educational purposes only and is not a medical device or healthcare provider. The Service does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BioStacks and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BioStacks and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
