About Prebiotic Fiber
Inulin is a prebiotic fiber that feeds beneficial gut bacteria. Short-chain forms — FOS, scFOS (NutraFlora), oligofructose — are inulin-type fructans grouped here; clinical dose-response studies show bifidogenic effects from 2.5–10 g/day. May cause GI discomfort at higher doses. No established RDA/UL.

How much Prebiotic Fiber to take
The RDA prevents deficiency. The effective range is what clinical trials used to actually move the outcome.
