About Amylase
Starch-digesting enzyme. Clinical evidence is limited to multi-enzyme blend RCTs (DigeZyme, Elevase) — individual contribution cannot be isolated. Well-established biochemically but lacks standalone human RCTs.
What Amylase supports
- Supports starch and carbohydrate digestion
How much Amylase to take
Clinical studies typically use 10000–24000 du of Amylase. 10,000-24,000 DU per serving for digestive support. DigeZyme RCT used ~3,600 DU/day as part of a multi-enzyme blend.
- Effective range
- 10000–24000 du
Clinical evidence
Limited clinical evidence. No standalone human clinical trials; only studied as part of multi-enzyme blend products
