Evidence: 2 of 5 (Limited)

What the evidence says

A trace-mineral / polyphenol-rich extract of fossilized plant matter, sold mainly as the branded blend elevATP (ancient peat plus apple extract). A handful of small, manufacturer-associated RCTs reported increases in intracellular ATP and minor strength/power gains in trained individuals; independent replication is lacking and effect sizes are small.

A few small, manufacturer-associated RCTs of the elevATP blend; no independent replication.

About Fossilized plant / humic mineral complex

A trace-mineral / polyphenol-rich extract of fossilized plant matter, sold mainly as the branded blend elevATP (ancient peat plus apple extract). A handful of small, manufacturer-associated RCTs reported increases in intracellular ATP and minor strength/power gains in trained individuals; independent replication is lacking and effect sizes are small. Evidence for the peat extract by itself is minimal.

What Fossilized plant / humic mineral complex supports

  • May support intracellular ATP in small trials (usually as the elevATP blend)

How much Fossilized plant / humic mineral complex to take

The RDA prevents deficiency. The effective range is what clinical trials used to actually move the outcome.

Effective

150300

mg

elevATP (ancient peat + apple polyphenol) trials used ~150 mg/day; no established therapeutic dose for the peat extract alone.

Clinical evidence

Limited clinical evidence. A few small, manufacturer-associated RCTs of the elevATP blend; no independent replication.
