About Forskolin
A mint-family root standardized to forskolin, marketed for weight loss and testosterone. A small RCT (Godard 2005) in overweight men showed changes in body composition and testosterone but no weight loss; a trial in women showed no benefit. Evidence is small and mixed. ⚠️ Forskolin lowers blood pressure and inhibits platelet aggregation — caution with antihypertensive, anticoagulant/antiplatelet drugs and warfarin.
