About Cordyceps Mushroom
Cordyceps has been used in traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. Contains cordycepin and adenosine analogs that may support energy metabolism and oxygen utilization. A 2016 systematic review found moderate evidence for improved exercise performance in older adults. A 3-week RCT with C. militaris (1g/day) showed improved VO2max in young adults. May also support kidney and respiratory function. C. militaris (cultivated fruiting body) contains more cordycepin than CS-4 mycelium.
