About Devil's Claw
A root (Harpagophytum procumbens) standardized to harpagoside, used for osteoarthritis and low back pain. Systematic reviews find moderate evidence for short-term pain relief in low back pain and OA at adequate harpagoside doses. ⚠️ Increases gastric acid (avoid with peptic ulcer/GERD), may potentiate anticoagulants, and is cautioned with gallstones.
