About Standardized Cynanchum wilfordii / Phlomis umbrosa / Angelica gigas Blend
EstroG-100 is a patented, fixed-ratio (1:1:1.08) standardized extract of three Korean herbs — Cynanchum wilfordii, Phlomis umbrosa, and Angelica gigas — evaluated as a single defined ingredient, not a generic undisclosed 'proprietary blend.' Multiple randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trials (12-week, n=64-105) report improved menopausal symptom scores (modified Kupperman Index) versus placebo. EFSA reviewed it as a novel food and considers it safe up to 175 mg/day in postmenopausal women, below the 514 mg/day used in the efficacy trials.
