About Ornithine
Non-proteinogenic amino acid involved in the urea cycle. Supplementation supports ammonia detoxification during prolonged exercise and has been studied for sleep quality and stress reduction. Often paired with L-arginine for nitric oxide support.

How much Ornithine to take
Clinical studies typically use 400–2000 mg of Ornithine. 400 mg before bed studied for sleep quality; 2–6 g studied for ammonia clearance and exercise fatigue. Higher doses (6g+) may cause GI distress.
