About Lipase
Fat-digesting enzyme. Strong evidence exists for prescription-level PERT in pancreatic insufficiency, but evidence for OTC supplement doses (500-3,000 FIP) in healthy adults is very limited.

1,000-3,000 FIP per serving for OTC digestive support. Below 1,000 FIP is considered ineffective for fat digestion. Prescription PERT uses 25,000-50,000 FIP/meal for pancreatic insufficiency.
