About Korean Ginseng
Panax ginseng is one of the most studied herbal supplements globally. Multiple RCTs support modest benefits for cognitive function, physical fatigue, and immune modulation. The active compounds (ginsenosides) vary by extraction and standardization. Korean red ginseng has additional RCTs for erectile dysfunction and blood glucose. American ginseng (P. quinquefolius) is closely related with similar but not identical ginsenoside profiles. No established RDA/UL.
