About Rhizopus mold
Rhizopus oryzae is a filamentous fungus used in food fermentation (e.g. tempeh) and as a source of enzymes (lipase, amylase, protease). It appears in some fermented or enzyme supplements. There is no clinical efficacy evidence for it as a standalone supplement.
