About Skullcap
Refers to either American skullcap (Scutellaria lateriflora), used traditionally for anxiety, or Chinese skullcap (S. baicalensis), rich in baicalin and used for inflammation. Human clinical evidence is limited for both. Some Chinese skullcap products have been linked to liver injury (often via adulteration).
