What the evidence says

A taurine-conjugated bile acid studied mainly in animal/cell models for effects on ER stress and metabolic markers. No human clinical trials of oral TCDCA supplementation were identified. Not to be confused with tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA), a different bile acid conjugate with its own (separate) human trial record.
