Fatty Acid

10-Undecenoic Acid

Evidence

Limited
Evidence: 2 of 5 (Limited)

What the evidence says

A castor-oil-derived fatty acid with antifungal activity, well established topically (FDA OTC monograph ingredient for athlete's foot/antifungal creams). Also used orally in some 'candida cleanse' supplements for gut yeast balance, but oral use lacks quality human RCT support — evidence there is limited to in-vitro antifungal activity.

Antifungal evidence is in-vitro/topical; no human RCTs support oral 'candida cleanse' use.
